There's a recipe for Peppermint creme biscuits I'll be making today, that my mother has used a few times - which is incredibly delicious. Its got three layers - crumbly chocolate biscuit bottom, peppermint creme center topped with a thick layer of solid chocolate.
I'll be making a batch to take with me to Reading for my partner's birthday (because biscuits are easier to transport on the rail network than cake). Photos of my efforts will probably end up on Twitter somewhere.
